Aura Organic Air Filtration utilizes sunlight and house plants in order to remove air contaminants. This air purifier operates without electricity. House plants are naturally equipped to filter pollutants such as carbon monoxide, volatile organic compounds, formaldehyde and benzene from the air. This gadget utilizes this property to purify air and make it free from pollutants. Plants use sunlight to grow, and are grown in a venture-like pot which directs airflow over the key filtration areas of plants and their roots. Standard air filters also help in reducing the amount of contaminants one breathes; however in the process use a huge amount of energy in order to keep the pumps and fans running. A project of Ben McGinley, this Aura Organic Air Filtration system is unique, since it does keep air quality healthy yet does not consume any electricity for the same.
