What mattress is better than Saatva?
Established in 2010, Saatva specializes in direct-to-consumer luxury mattresses under 3 brand name names: Saatva, Loom & Leaf, and Zenhaven. Pocketed coils provide the Saatva Classic a good amount of bounce near the top, and a plush top includes softness. As with all of the Saatva Company’s bed mattress, the Saatva Classic is delivered by movers, rather than in a box.
Factors to consider: Saatva Good Or Bad
Individuals who are easily woken up when their partner stirs may find the Saatva transfers more motion than ideal Individuals who like the hug of memory foam might not feel the Saatva conforms carefully adequate The Saatva’s convenience system utilizes thinner layers of foam than many hybrid models. Rather, it utilizes an extra layer of springs within the

Keep in mind: Saatva recently updated the Zenhaven, altering the kind of latex used in its foam layers. The Zenhaven now includes Dunlop latex, instead of Talalay latex; find out more about the differences below. We prepare to evaluate the brand-new version quickly and will upgrade this guide with our impressions.
The Zenhaven is likewise flippable (the High-end Plush side feels medium-firm, while the Mild Firm side feels a bit firmer), which may show useful if you’re not sure what you prefer or if your requirements alter over time. This is not a traditionally soft bed mattress, but it uses a supple cushion, great edge support, and a subtle springiness.
For this evaluation, I slept on the Saatva Classic, the Loom & Leaf, and the Zenhaven mattresses for numerous weeks in my own house. These mattresses were also evaluated in our group tests performed for Wirecutter’s guides to the best foam bed mattress and the best innerspring bed mattress. As Wirecutter’s senior personnel writer for sleep, I’ve interviewed scores of professionals in the bed mattress market and in products science; visited lots of mattress shops, factories, and showrooms; and pored over the small print on specifications, warranties, and return policies. Most recently, supervising editor Courtney Schley evaluated the Saatva Latex Hybrid in her home for several weeks.
Understanding Saatva Saatva’s portfolio of beds– many with an option of firmness levels and catering to almost every comfort choice– consists of: Saatva Classic ( innerspring).
Loom & Leaf ( all foam).
Zenhaven ( all latex).
Saatva Latex Hybrid ( latex with coils).
Solaire ( a bed with adjustable air chambers). Saatva Good Or Bad
Saatva HD ( a latex-coil hybrid designed for sleepers who weigh 300 to 500 pounds).
Saatva Youth ( a foam-coil hybrid for kids ages 3 through 12).
We haven’t yet done a deep dive into the “natural” claims of Saatva or of other “eco-friendly” brand names. We do know that the company utilizes thistle pulp or natural wool as a flame retardant (as opposed to chemicals or fiberglass) and just organic cotton (instead of artificial blends) in its covers. As do other online bed mattress companies, Saatva promotes such extras as zoned layers for “optimal spine support”; we’re less satisfied with those functions and more appreciative of Saatva’s responsive customer support and durable foams and coils.
