What mattress is better than Saatva?
Established in 2010, Saatva specializes in direct-to-consumer luxury mattresses under 3 brand names: Saatva, Loom & Leaf, and Zenhaven. Pocketed coils give the Saatva Classic an excellent quantity of bounce near the top, and a luxurious top includes softness. As with all of the Saatva Company’s mattresses, the Saatva Classic is delivered by movers, rather than in a box.
Considerations: Saatva Mattress Ripoff
The Saatva’s comfort system uses thinner layers of foam than many hybrid designs. These thinner layers of foam integrated with the Euro-top’s fiber fill take in some motion, reducing how much movement is felt across the surface area of the bed. Sleepers may still experience some motion transfer when their partner changes position or gets up during the night due to the bed mattress’s two layers of springs.Thanks to its softer feel, the Plush Soft version of the Saatva takes in slightly more motion than the Luxury Company and Firm options.While all of the Saatva firmness choices have pressure-relieving capacity, the quantity of pressure relief that a specific experiences on the mattress will differ based partially on their weight and sleep position. Individuals who weigh under 130 pounds will likely experience the most push relief on the Luxurious Soft version of the bed mattress, while sleepers over 230 pounds will likely get the best balance of contouring and support from the Firm version.Note: Saatva just recently updated the Zenhaven, altering the type of latex utilized in its foam layers. The Zenhaven is also flippable (the Luxury Plush side feels medium-firm, while the Mild Firm side feels a bit firmer), which may prove practical if you’re not sure what you prefer or if your needs alter over time. This is not a traditionally soft mattress, but it offers a supple cushion, great edge assistance, and a subtle springiness.

We have not yet done a deep dive into the “natural” claims of Saatva or of other “environment-friendly” brand names. However we do understand that the company utilizes thistle pulp or natural wool as a flame retardant (rather than chemicals or fiberglass) and just organic cotton (instead of artificial blends) in its covers. As do other online mattress companies, Saatva touts such extras as zoned layers for “optimal spinal column support”; we’re less pleased with those functions and more appreciative of Saatva’s responsive client service and durable foams and coils.
