What mattress is better than Saatva?
Founded in 2010, Saatva specializes in direct-to-consumer luxury mattresses under 3 brand names: Saatva, Loom & Leaf, and Zenhaven. Pocketed coils provide the Saatva Classic a good amount of bounce near the top, and a plush top includes softness. As with all of the Saatva Business’s mattresses, the Saatva Classic is provided by movers, rather than in a box.
Considerations: Saatva Pilow Review
When their partner stirs may discover the Saatva transfers more motion than perfect, individuals who are easily awoken People who like the hug of memory foam may not feel the Saatva conforms closely adequate The Saatva’s comfort system uses thinner layers of foam than numerous hybrid models. The all-foam Zenhaven consists primarily of latex, which is intrinsically durable. The Zenhaven is likewise flippable (the Luxury Plush side feels medium-firm, while the Mild Company side feels a bit firmer), which might prove useful if you’re not sure what you choose or if your requirements alter over time. This is not a traditionally cushy mattress, however it provides a supple cushion, good edge support, and a subtle springiness. Given its natural sturdiness, the Zenhaven must work well for people who weigh more than 200 pounds.
For this review, I slept on the Saatva Classic, the Loom & Leaf, and the Zenhaven mattresses for a number of weeks in my own home. These mattresses were likewise assessed in our group tests carried out for Wirecutter’s guides to the finest foam mattresses and the finest innerspring bed mattress. As Wirecutter’s senior personnel writer for sleep, I’ve spoken with ratings of specialists in the mattress market and in products science; checked out dozens of bed mattress factories, stores, and showrooms; and read the fine print on specs, warranties, and return policies. Most recently, monitoring editor Courtney Schley evaluated the Saatva Latex Hybrid in her house for numerous weeks.

We haven’t yet done a deep dive into the “natural” claims of Saatva or of other “eco-friendly” brand names. We do understand that the company uses thistle pulp or natural wool as a flame retardant (as opposed to fiberglass or chemicals) and just natural cotton (instead of synthetic blends) in its covers. As do other online bed mattress companies, Saatva touts such extras as zoned layers for “optimal spine assistance”; we’re less pleased with those features and more appreciative of Saatva’s responsive customer service and long lasting foams and coils.
